Copyright and distribution license
The Universidad Nacional de Música recognizes copyright as the set of moral and economic rights granted by Peruvian legislation to creators of artistic, literary, scientific, and other related intellectual works, with the purpose of protecting their originality and ensuring the exercise of their rights regarding the use of such works.
Authors submitting manuscripts to ANTEC must declare, under their responsibility, that they hold the rights to the work, that it is original and unpublished, and that it does not infringe upon the rights of third parties.
Publication in the journal implies that authors:
- Retain ownership of their moral rights, which are inalienable, perpetual, and non-waivable, in accordance with current Peruvian legislation.
- Grant the Universidad Nacional de Música a non-exclusive authorization to exercise the economic rights of reproduction, distribution, and public communication of the work, strictly for academic, research, and cultural dissemination purposes, in both print and digital formats, at national and international levels. This authorization is formalized through the signing of the "Manuscript Distribution Rights Transfer Declaration", a document required during the editorial process.
- Grant the journal the right of first publication of the unpublished work, which is distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This license allows readers to access and share the work with appropriate acknowledgment of authorship, provided that it is not used for commercial purposes and that no derivative works are created.
- Retain the right to subsequently disseminate their article through institutional repositories, databases, academic networks, social media platforms, or personal websites, provided that the first publication in ANTEC is acknowledged and the corresponding link is included.
- Enter into additional distribution or licensing agreements for the work, provided that such agreements do not conflict with the provisions established above.
In accordance with its Open Access policy, the journal encourages authors to promote the online dissemination of their publications through academic repositories and other digital platforms in order to increase the visibility, reach, and scholarly impact of their research by expanding opportunities for consultation and citation.
