About copyright
The Universidad Nacional de Música recognizes copyright as the set of moral and economic rights granted under Peruvian law to the creators of artistic, literary, and scientific works (including computer programs, databases, and related creations), in order to protect their originality and ensure the proper exercise of their rights regarding the use of such works.
Authors submitting articles to Antec: Revista Peruana de Investigación Musical must declare, under their own responsibility, that they hold the rights to the work, that it is original, and that it does not infringe upon the rights of third parties.
Publication in this journal implies that:
- Authors retain ownership of their moral rights, which are inalienable, non-transferable, and non-waivable, in accordance with Peruvian law.
- Authors grant the Universidad Nacional de Música (UNM), on a non-exclusive basis, the economic rights of reproduction, distribution, and public communication of the work for exclusively academic, research, and cultural dissemination purposes, in both print and digital formats, nationally and internationally.
- Authors grant the journal the right of first publication of the unpublished work, which will be distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This ensures open and free access without financial restrictions, allowing users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of the articles, provided that the source is properly cited and the terms of the license are respected.
- Authors retain the right to subsequently publish their article in institutional repositories, databases, academic networks, social media platforms, or personal websites, provided that the first publication in Antec is clearly acknowledged and the corresponding link is included.
- Authors may establish additional distribution or licensing agreements for their work, provided that these do not conflict with the terms established above.
The journal encourages authors to promote the dissemination of their articles through online platforms and institutional repositories, as this contributes to increasing the academic visibility of their work and enhances its impact through broader access and citation opportunities.
