Prologue

Abstract

Antec: Revista Peruana de Investigación Musical presents a new issue belonging to the special edition Bicentennial Series, which began in 2020 and concludes with the current edition. It thus continues with the publication of the winning texts of the National Award for Musical Research. Bicentennial: Musical Circulations and Perspectives, Peru 1821-2021, organized by the Research Institute of the National University of Music (UNM) in 2021. Three of the winning works of said contest were published in the previous issue and the other two are offered in this one. Two more articles are also included, the Coda section consisting of a musical practice and two reviews.
