Prologue

Abstract

This issue of Antec, the fifth editorial publication of Cicremp, offers a plural panorama of current musical research in the Spanish-speaking world. It brings together three works from different institutional spheres and focused on relatively specific musical events; however, the common point between them is that each one addresses a theme deeply rooted in the experience of its author in the artistic practice of music itself. In addition, each case is based on the musical analysis of a specific work and under specific analytical models: stylistic, hermeneutic and interpretive, respectively.
