Prologue

Abstract

This issue of Antec presents to the public the articles that have been awarded the National Prize for Musical Research, organized by the Research Institute of the National University of Music of Peru. This initiative is commendable and shows that the existence of a magazine like Antec is an impetus for research and the publication of scientific articles on the subject. The variety of topics, approaches and methodologies presented in these articles is stimulating, in which patriotic music, reggaeton and the minuet parade before us.
