The Paths of Music. Andean Popular Genres in the Second Half of the 20th Century is the name of the book considered by the Peruvian anthropologist and ethnomusicologist Ladislao Landa and which reproduces, almost without updates, his undergraduate thesis in anthropology, presented in 1992 at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, as well as three of his articles on Peruvian Andean music at the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, in addition to an appendix with the interviews that served as the basis for his thesis and that were conducted by him, the anthropologist Lucy Núñez Rebaza and the musician and social communicator Isaac Vivanco in the 1980s, within the framework of a research project directed by the American composer and researcher John Cohen.
