Abstract

Manuel Vera Tudela (Lima, 1984) is a Peruvian journalist, guitarist and singer-songwriter, who currently lives in Vienna, Austria. He studied journalism at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. His favorite genre, as he himself points out, is the interview and he did not hesitate to embark on an adventure that took years, great logistical efforts to contact different guitarists and overcome the nerves of interviewing people he admired. In cafes, houses, music schools or through Skype, Vera Tudela deploys a series of questions to 21 guitarists of different ages, genres, musical fields, working worlds. 21 different visions of music, but all with one thing in common: the guitar.
