This research analyzes the two arpeggio passages of the Chaconne in D minor, from the Stevens Grip approach. The basic concepts on the application and execution of the Stevens technique for the different articulations and permutations on the marimba are presented. In this way, the choice of fingerings, dynamics and articulations is facilitated, solving the complications of technical movement on the marimba and giving the performer a more elaborate vision of the musical piece.
