Prologue

Abstract

To explain a musical fact, it is necessary to resort to other disciplines, which makes our research practice an interdisciplinary task. The different disciplines serve as support and contribute to the overall understanding of what is being studied. In this issue, we see how musical research, through the knowledge of pedagogy, medicine, musicology and ethnography on which it is based, arrives at the explanation of a specific topic that has an impact on social work.
