Abstract

The book Los Universos de César Bolaños (2021) presents us with a general look at the life, influences, and works of the multifaceted Peruvian musician César Manuel Bolaños Vildoso. Thanks to his immersion in music and his academic exploration, Bolaños has come to be considered, in the last two decades, as one of the pioneers of Peruvian electronic music. The first version, reviewed here, does not include the new texts that are in the process of being included in future editions, to which new stories, cartoons, anecdotes, testimonies, and analytical articles will be added.
