The recent edition of Los grupo de sonido (The Sound Groups) compiles Tosar's theoretical work developed in the 1990s, when he was teaching at the University School of Music of the University of the Republic (Uruguay), material that was already used in training work. Today, its publication in book format projects these contributions beyond the local and national scope thanks to the joint work of the University School of Music and the Lauro Ayestarán Music Documentation Center.
