Músicos en movimiento: comprendiendo el movimiento corporal en la interpretación musical de clarinetistas

El estudio del movimiento corporal en la interpretación musical ha ganado relevancia en las últimas décadas, especialmente en la búsqueda de una mayor comprensión de la expresividad musical. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo describir y clasificar los movimientos corporales empleados por clarinetistas durante la interpretación de la Sonata para clarinete y piano de Francis Poulenc, una obra compleja en términos de cambios dinámicos y de tempo. Bajo un enfoque cualitativo, se llevó a cabo un estudio de caso múltiple con cuatro clarinetistas que habían interpretado esta sonata. Se seleccionaron trece extractos representativos de los tres movimientos, los cuales mostraban modificaciones significativas de tempo y dinámica. Los resultados revelaron seis movimientos corporales principales y uno secundario, cuya intensidad y frecuencia variaron entre los intérpretes. Estos hallazgos contribuyen al entendimiento de cómo los músicos utilizan el cuerpo para transmitir la expresividad musical, proporcionando un aporte valioso a las teorías actuales sobre la relación entre cuerpo e interpretación en la música clásica.
