Three publications on Arequipa composers from the Editorial San Pablo Catholic University

Abstract

The three books represent an important contribution to Peruvian musicography by systematizing and documenting the biography and work of three Arequipa composers. The first of them is entitled Los Duncker, Vida y Obra de Nestor Rios Chechllo, with a prologue by Dr. Zoila Vega Salvatierra. The second book, Aurelio Diaz Espinoza. Musical Legacy (2019), edited by Omar Carrazco Llanos and Manuel Cruz Luque, is dedicated to the work of Aurelio Diaz Espinoza. The book Manuel L. Aguirre de la Fuente. Musical Legacy published in 2023, also has as academic editors Omar Carrasco Llanos and Manuel Cruz Luque and has a prologue by maestro Aurelio Tello Malpartida.
