Abstract

The few lines that open the journal reviewed here are so eloquent that they are well worth quoting: "Among the activities of the Bolivian Center for Musical Studies, one of the most interesting initiatives of 2024 was the "Latin American Composers Forum," not only for the stature of the participants but also for the contribution of ideas that were expressed on that occasion. The result of this exchange is the current journal "Latin American Music Today," as well as the YouTube channel of the same name. In fact, then, "Latin American Music Today" constitutes an open space for ideas, thoughts, and musical artistic proposals that seek a context in which to express themselves freely."
